TEHRAN -- Cartoonists will feature “Persian Cat”, “Dilemma” and “Superstition” themes at the upcoming Tehran International Cartoon Biennial.

The cartoon section of the biennial is dedicated to works on “Superstition” theme. “Persian Cat” is the theme of the character design section and participants of the comic strip section should submit works with the theme of “Dilemma”.

The biennial is one of the few events that are held regularly in Tehran, with participating artists coming from different countries.

The event is held by the Iranian House of Cartoon which is affiliated with Tehran’s Municipality.

“Fear” was the theme of the previous Tehran International Cartoon Biennial which was held concurrently in Tehran and Ahvaz.
